Fueled by the musical influences of George 
Benson, Marvin Gaye and Seal, as well as the lyrical finesse of Stevie Wonder, Darrell has, without exception, fused these influences exquisitely.

Son of an Army sergeant, Darrell's young world was constantly changing.  His early years were much like that of a gypsy.  The disorder of his youth found Darrell drawn to music, much like a sanctuary: a familiar refuge which travelled with him base to base, country to country.  His talent and ability evolved from a place of self inflicted solitude.
